Journal Entry 7.21.22

Today I got free cherries at the market.

I was wearing a dress of the same color, covered in little daisies, with jewelry I bought at the market that morning.

Adorned.

A woman came up and asked me for money. I had none, so I shared my cherries.

This park and this city is bringing me back to myself.

Reminding me that I do have greatness. That I choose who to share it with.

That the lucky ones would beg for it.

But I know I have it.

And it is my gift to give.

It’s as much cherry season, as it is my season.

Time to pluck my courage and bear fruit.
